KNOWLEDGE CULTURE PROGRAM : SPEED READING with Cyberjaya College, Kuching

Knowledge Culture Program: Speed Reading was implemented at Cyberjaya College Library, Kuching which was attended by 32 students and 16 administrative and academic staff of Cyberjaya College, Kuching.

The program is running on:

Venue: Cyberjaya College Library, Kuching

Instructor: Mrs. Khairunniqmah binti Othman (Librarian) and Mrs. Fazyiema binti Fazari (Senior Assistant Librarian)

This program is a collaboration with the Cyberjaya College Kuching Library which is led by the Cyberjaya college Kuching Librarian, Miss Angline Jane daughter of Brendan. Organizing a joint program of Cycberjaya Kuching Library is seen to be able to give a significant impact to the participants in the knowledge culture sharing session and group training. The program also supports the UiTM Library Strategic Planning 2024 which is KPI 5: Number of Participations in the Knowledge Culture Program covering PI 8: Number of Library Community Partnership Participations and PI 10: Number of UiTM Alumni Involvements. Through this program it can also have a positive impact to the participants and the local citizens can be sowed.

The main purpose of the program carried out is to provide opportunities to participants by learning fast reading techniques, increasing self confidence when reading and fostering reading interest. In addition, the program also encourages reading among participants and builds reading competencies.
